Protect Your Jewelry from Chemicals:
Avoid exposing your jewelry to any kind of chemicals, as they can damage its finish or weaken certain gemstones. Be mindful of:

Gemstones like opals and pearls are especially vulnerable to chemical exposure, so take extra precautions when wearing them.

Remove Jewelry in Certain Situations:
Take off your jewelry before sleeping to avoid accidental damage.
Remove it before showering, swimming, or engaging in activities that could expose it to water or harsh environments.
Take off your pieces before any activity that may cause knocks, scratches, or dents, such as exercising, gardening, heavy lifting, or cleaning. If in doubt, it’s better to store your jewelry safely.

Opals are delicate and require extra care. Never clean them using an ultrasonic machine, as it can cause damage. Please note that GEMPARA’s warranty does not cover opals, so we encourage extra caution with these fragile gemstones.
